I have created classic video game sound set for the awesome iPhone Customize application by SpicyChicken. This sample set is available in the Ste's AppTap repository for all you iPhone users. These sounds can be used as SMS message alerts, lock/unlock sounds, voicemail alerts, low power sounds and much more. So far, I've included samples from the following games:

• Pac-Man
• Mario Bros.
• Super Mario Bros.
• Super Mario World
• Legend of Zelda
• Sonic the Hedgehog
• Pitfall

If anyone has any ideas of other games/samples that should be included, please leave me feedback in the comment form below. Look for this sample set in your AppTap repository, available now.

I've also made this sound set available for direct download here. All samples are in .aiff format -- QuickTime will convert them to whatever. I'm working on a port of this soundset to the Palm Treo as well.

Ringtone Library

I'm making progress on a retro video game ringtone library. This differs from the sound library in that each sound is designed to be used as ringtones. This will not be dependent on the Customize application, so I've decided to release it as a separate package. With the release of 1.1.1, I'm going to have to repackage these, so they'll work. Stay tuned.
